Brenda, quien era el \u00fanico sost\u00e9n de sus tres hijos, viajaba en moto con un compa\u00f1ero cuando Leal, manejando a alta velocidad y hablando por celular seg\u00fan testigos, la embisti\u00f3 y huy\u00f3, dejando el cuerpo en la calle por m\u00e1s de 6 horas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A pesar de las pruebas de homicidio culposo agravado \u2014exceso de velocidad, uso del celular y no respetar la prioridad de paso\u2014, <strong>Leal evit\u00f3 el juicio penal. Pag\u00f3 $53.000.000 (unos U$S 44.000) a la familia de Brenda<\/strong>, que, en una situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica desesperada, acept\u00f3 el acuerdo. La fiscal\u00eda archiv\u00f3 el caso, aplicando de forma irregular el Art\u00edculo 59 del C\u00f3digo Penal, que permite extinguir la acci\u00f3n penal por reparaci\u00f3n del da\u00f1o, aunque esto contradice fallos de la Corte Suprema que proh\u00edben su uso en homicidios viales agravados.<\/p>\n<p>Este caso refleja la impunidad en Tucum\u00e1n, donde el poder pol\u00edtico y judicial favorece a los influyentes. Mientras en otras provincias hay condenas por casos similares, Leal, respaldada por la UNT y abogados poderosos, compr\u00f3 su libertad.<strong> La familia de Brenda, sin recursos para enfrentar un proceso largo, qued\u00f3 atrapada en la injusticia.
